The flower industry represents a business that offers wide perspectives for growth in Chile because of its climate and biodiversity, specially of endemic flower bulbs. In a joint venture with the Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, Mansur Agricultural Services (MAS) has developed a Leucocoryne breeding and research program that to date has patented three varieties in the USA.
